Time Confections

Fort Worth Hope Center is a non-profit that helps people create a better life of their own through job training, GED programs, and many other resources. One of the programs we wanted to expand for them was the bakery training. We created a sub-brand for them and packaging so the trainees could bake cookies to be sold in local businesses to support the center.

We honed in on the idea that the center acts as a sort of time machine, giving people oppurtunites that they missed out on in their past. From there, we created packaging with whimsical characters from different eras interacting in time machine related scenes. The playful design would appeal to people wanting to donate. The package stands out with the elaborate texture it creates, but off set by the simple black and white. The design won two ADDY awards for illustration and packaging in Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas.
